Andrea Anderson, MD, FAAFP

Congratulations to DCAFP member Dr. Andrea Anderson who won this year's Advocate Award from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. The award was conferred this year at the STFM Annual Meeting in Toronto.

The award honors an STFM member(s) for outstanding work in political advocacy at the local, state, or national level. Dr. Anderson was also named to the Academic Family Medicine Advocacy Committee. This committee is made up of 3 appointed members each from STFM, ADFM, CAFM, and the ABFM and advocates on the state and federal level about issues relevant to academic Family Medicine.
