Immunization Saves Lives!

With the recent rise in measles cases in different parts of the world and the on-going antivaccination campaign, the DCAFP would like to emphasize the important role of vaccinations in the prevention of communicable diseases as well as the protection of the health of the public.

It is important that decisions are based on scientific facts which is widely available to support the safety and efficacy of vaccines in the prevention of a wide range of diseases.

Patients and their families are encouraged to engage their physicians in dialogue to have your questions answered as well as gain insight into the risks and benefits of vaccines and the process of vaccination.

We would like to also encourage our members and other physicians to continue to educate patients and the community to provide them with information to help in decision making so as to protect the health of the public.
