The District of Columbia Academy of Family Physicians (DCAFP)

The District of Columbia Academy of Family Physicians  (DCAFP) is a state chapter of the American Academy of  Family Physicians. A membership organization for DC Family Physicians, the Academy advocates for Family Physicians and our patients, and conducts continuing  medical education for Family Physicians. We are a 501c(6) organization located in the District of Columbia.

We are a non-profit membership organization dedicated to improving the health and health care of the DC community through the support of family physicians and their patients. The mission of the DCAFP Foundation (DCAFP Foundation), as the philanthropic arm of the DCAFP, is to advance the values of Family Medicine by promoting humanitarian, educational, and scientific initiatives that improve the health of all people. DCAFP President, President-Elect, Past-President, Treasurer and Executive Director will continue to serve as the Board of Trustees of the DCAFP Foundation.
